The Leelanau School is excited to announce two new hires starting July 2020.
Press Release: The Beach Bards and Public Observatory Nights Canceled at The Leelanau School For Summer 2020
Due to the current COVID-19/Coronavirus Pandemic, The Beach Bards and Public Observatory nights held on The Leelanau School campus in Glen Arbor, have been canceled for the summer of 2020. The health and well being of guests and students is the School’s utmost concern. Out of an abundance of caution and due to the difficulty in ensuring a safe gathering space and shared telescope usage, regretfully these long-standing summer traditions will not occur this year.

Racial and Social Justice Committee
The Leelanau School Community has created a Racial and Social Justice Committee. The Committee’s first, but certainly not last, item to address is the below Statement of Solidarity with the Black community. The committee worked hard to craft a statement true to the Leelanau spirit and looks forward to continuing the work regarding this important movement.
