TIMELINES –

General Information

Rolling Decisions & Entry Points

Each school year starts in early September and ends in early June. We welcome application materials to be submitted at any time and work individually with families to construct a completion timeline that works best for them. While we release admission decisions on a rolling/on-going basis, students are admitted to traditional entry points.

Entry points at Leelanau:

  • Start of School Year | First Semester (Fall Term, ~September)
  • Mid-Year | Winter Term (early January)
  • Mid-Year | Second Semester (Spring Term, ~mid-February)
  • With exception, we may accommodate other entry points. Please contact Dean of Admission, Kate Caliri, to explore

We encourage families to inquire and promptly submit all application materials to ensure consideration for admission to the desired entry term. Although we have a rolling admission policy, enrollment may be limited by availability in specific grades or residential options.

When to Submit?

2023-2024 School Year

Application is now open for the 2023-2024 school year!

To Begin:

When Do I Hear?

The admission committee is committed to reviewing materials with integrity paired with efficiency. We will work diligently to confirm receipt of submitted application materials, review, set up the final roundtable conversation/interview and release admission decisions.

We encourage families to share any date-sensitive information that can help support the timeliness of the process.

On average, families receive an admission decision within 1-3 business days after the roundtable conversation/interview.
