Beach Bards Bonfire

The public is welcome to come and share By Heart Poetry, Stories, or Music or to simply enjoy the experience of a community bonfire on the shores of Lake Michigan.

The over 30-year tradition of Beach Bards is a memorable experience for people of all ages.

**During Summer 2026, The Beach Bards will take place on Friday July 10, July 17, and August 21. The event begins with a Children’s Hour at 8 pm. Admission is $1 per being.**

Visitors may park in any Leelanau School lot and walk down the scenic boardwalk, across the Crystal River, to the bonfire circle or adventurous types can walk in from the beach near the Lanphier Observatory boardwalk.
