At The Leelanau School, all students know each other and learn from one another. This is a tremendous advantage for international students because they work with domestic students and all faculty on a daily basis, in all settings — classes, dorms, sports, and activities.
Application
In addition to completing all required admission materials, detailed in our ROADMAP TO LEELANAU, international students should also submit:

- Passport Picture Page (required to issue I-20 for F-1 Student Visa)
- Results from Duolingo English Test
Language Testing
The results from Duolingo English Test allow us to evaluate your English abilities beyond what other testing might provide.
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Take the Test Online: anytime, anywhere
- Cost: $49 USD
- Tech Requirements: Google Chrome or Opera browser, self-facing computer camera, and microphone
- Results: 2 days
- Submit: Once test is complete, select THE LEELANAU SCHOOL in the drop-down list of Secondary Schools in order to share the scores OR share the results by typing in the email address admissions@leelanau.org of the school
