Attending an independent school may seem financially challenging, but an investment in a quality education yields a lifetime of rewards.

As a non-profit organization, we prioritize aligning our tuition with actual costs while offering competitive pricing.

Our robust Financial Aid Program supports qualifying families, and we provide flexible payment plans to help navigate expenses for academic programming, social enrichment, support services, lodging, and meals.

Additionally, families can utilize 529 savings plans for independent school tuition, and private scholarships may also be available within your community. Loan providers are also available to help families navigate costs.

Tuition & Boarding Fees

2026-2027

Early signing incentive: Families who sign their enrollment offer, matched with their deposit on or before April 15 AND commit to the single upfront tuition payment schedule will enjoy 2025-26 tuition rates.

7-Day Boarding Student: $76,000

5-Day Boarding Student: $65,140

Return to campus Sunday evening and depart Friday after the school day; all meals provided while boarding, plus two weekend stays a year

Day Student: $38,000

Includes daily breakfast & lunch; no overnights

Tuition at the Leelanau School covers schooling costs, housing, food, health services, learning materials and also supports the comprehensive residence life team who make our campus a true home away from home.
